Analisis Keberlanjutan Implementasi Program Pembibitan Mangrove Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Perusahaan Logistik Kepelabuhanan Surabaya

Abstract

Environmental-based Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs often face sustainability challenges due to geographical constraints and weak integration among stakeholders. In the context of sustainable development, CSR serves as an important instrument for creating shared value between companies and local communities. Well-designed CSR programs can not only mitigate the negative impacts of corporate operations but also contribute positively to environmental conservation and social well-being in a sustainable manner. This study aims to analyze the sustainability of a mangrove nursery CSR program implemented by a logistics and port company in Surabaya using Talcott Parsons’ AGIL framework (Adaptation, Goal Attainment, Integration, and Latency). A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through several systematic stages. Initial data were collected through interviews with mangrove farmers to identify the mangrove species used and the challenges encountered during program implementation. Field observations were subsequently conducted at the mangrove nursery site, which covers an area of 22.7 hectares, with assistance from the company’s CSR and Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) teams. The results indicate that the sustainability of the program largely depends on the ability of the various actors involved to fulfill their respective roles, adapt to environmental conditions, and maintain the continuity of the program’s functions after the implementation phase.
