Author Guidelines
Authors preparing a manuscript for submission to JICEE should review the following requirements carefully before submitting.
General Requirements
- Manuscripts must report original research that has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere.
- Manuscripts must be written in English.
- Manuscript length should fall between 6 and 12 pages, inclusive of tables, figures, and references.
- Citations and the reference list must follow APA 7th edition style.
Manuscript Structure
- Title
- Author Name(s) and Affiliation(s)
- Abstract (150–250 words, single paragraph, no indentation)
- Keywords (3–5 keywords)
- Introduction
- Research Method
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgments (where applicable)
- Declaration of Conflicting Interests
- Declaration of Generative AI and AI-Assisted Technologies (see Generative AI Policy)
- References
Citation and Reference Requirements
- All references must follow APA 7th edition formatting.
- A minimum of 15 references is required, with at least 80% drawn from primary sources — such as journal articles, book chapters, patents, or conference proceedings — published within the last 15 years.
Originality and Ethics Compliance
- Manuscripts are screened using Turnitin, with a maximum permitted similarity index of 20% (see Plagiarism Policy).
- Any use of generative AI tools in manuscript preparation must be disclosed in line with the journal's Generative AI Policy.
- Authors are solely responsible for the validity, originality, and integrity of their manuscript.
Authors are strongly encouraged to download and use the official JICEE article template (see Article Template) to ensure compliance with the journal's formatting standards before submission.
