Plagiarism Policy
JICEE enforces a strict policy against plagiarism in all submitted and published manuscripts. Plagiarism is defined as the use or close imitation of the language, ideas, data, or images of another author without proper attribution, presented as though they were the author's own original work.
Screening Procedure. Every manuscript submitted to JICEE is screened using Turnitin originality-checking software prior to entering the peer-review process and again before final publication. A maximum similarity index of 20% is permitted. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold are returned to the authors for revision and proper citation before the review process can continue.

Authors must clearly distinguish any verbatim material taken from another source through quotation marks or indentation, accompanied by full citation of the original source, and must obtain permission from the copyright holder before reproducing substantial text or graphical material from elsewhere.
