Open Access Policy

JICEE provides immediate, free, and unrestricted open access to all of its published content. Readers anywhere in the world may read, download, copy, and distribute full-text articles without a subscription fee, registration barrier, or embargo period.

This policy reflects JICEE's belief that unrestricted access to publicly funded and academically reviewed research accelerates scientific progress, broadens the practical impact of engineering research on industry and public policy, and supports equitable participation in global scholarship — particularly for researchers and practitioners in developing economies who may otherwise face limited access to subscription-based journals. By removing financial and institutional barriers to readership, JICEE aims to maximize the visibility, citation potential, and real-world application of the research it publishes.
