About the Journal

The Journal of Industrial, Civil, and Environmental Engineering (JICEE) (e-ISSN: [pending]) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science (FTIK), Universitas Bakrie, Indonesia, in collaboration with its Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Environmental Engineering study programs. JICEE publishes original research articles, technology development studies, and scientific reviews that examine the convergence of industrial, civil, and environmental engineering within the framework of sustainable development and digital transformation.

JICEE was established in response to a clear gap in the scholarly publishing landscape: although infrastructure development increasingly demands integrated thinking across construction, industrial systems, and environmental management, most existing engineering journals remain confined to a single discipline or adopt a scope so broad that it cannot accommodate genuinely integrative research. JICEE addresses this gap by positioning itself as a transdisciplinary platform where civil engineering's infrastructure expertise, industrial engineering's systems and efficiency perspective, and environmental engineering's sustainability mandate are brought into direct scholarly dialogue.

Every manuscript submitted to JICEE undergoes a double-blind peer-review process conducted by subject-matter experts from the journal's national and international reviewer network, ensuring that published work meets high standards of scientific rigor, methodological soundness, and originality. As an open-access publication, JICEE is committed to making its full content freely available to readers worldwide, supporting the global exchange of engineering knowledge without financial or institutional barriers.
